MEET THE SUPERVISORS

Billie Crowley
Humboldt and Del Norte Counties
Regional Supervisor

"Hello! My name is Billie Crowley and I am the Regional Supervisor for Humboldt and Pacific Caregivers. Providing quality in-home care with compassionate, skilled, care providers is a passion of mine. It is equally important for me to provide leadership and support to our excellent care team. My goal is to provide care with the appropriate skill level for your needs, with a care provider or team of care providers you feel comfortable with, and with as much consistency in care providers as possible. Good communication is essential for successful caregiving.

"Our parent company has been serving Northern California for over twenty-five years. I started this division in August of 2004. My experience before this has been diverse. I was a live-in caregiver for my mother and respite caregiver for my mother-in-law, both of whom had Alzheimer's disease. I have been a hospice volunteer, took Nursing Assistant training at College of the Redwoods, was an in-home care provider, and worked in a board and care facility as a care provider. Before discovering this work that I love, my husband and I owned and operated a group of vacation cottages in Anchor Bay on the Mendocino Coast. Prior to that, I was a manager with a telecommunications company. I moved to McKinleyville with my husband in 2002 and currently reside in Trinidad.

"I look forward to working with you."

Angela Pearce
Humboldt and Del Norte Counties
Assistant Supervisor

"Hello, my name is Angie Pearce, Assistant Supervisor of Humboldt and Pacific Caregivers. I was born in Humboldt County and have also lived on the coast of Massachusetts and in the mountains of Colorado.

"I have volunteered for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and PTA while my children were young. While I lived in Colorado, I volunteered at the fire department as a firefighter, then I became an EMT for rural ambulance companies. I worked as a CNA in skilled nursing, an office manager for a real estate company, then I was offered a job at the Sheriff’s Department and became a 911 dispatcher in Colorado until I moved back to Humboldt County in 2002. Then I worked in assisted living as a med tech and resident care coordinator. I have been with Humboldt Caregivers since 2005 as a caregiver.

"I have a large family; I am the oldest of seven, and I have seven children and four precious granddaughters.

"I love to work in the yard and vegetable garden, create quilts and hand quilt them. Visits to the ocean to find natural treasures and also travel.

"I believe that caring and helping people; it is so gratifying. My reward is their smile and twinkle in their eye that makes my heart so big and job so special."
